Donna Hais, General Manager for R. W (Bob) Wall Ltd., has lived in Nanaimo her whole life. She graduated from Nanaimo District Secondary School and went on to attend Malaspina College/University. After graduating from Malaspina, Donna worked for a local law firm in town. She eventually decided that she wanted to change her career path and she joined R. W. (Bob) Wall Ltd. and begin learning about all the facets of the construction industry.

Donna began her new career by working at the front desk assisting, clients, sub-trades, and employees with any questions or concerns. By 2004, she had demonstrated her knowledge and skill showing a clear understanding of the construction assembly process, as well as national building code to the point that Donna was offered a junior partnership with R. W. (Bob) Wall Ltd.

Donna continued to learn other areas of the business, mastering cost estimating and sub-trade co-ordination, and in 2011 she was offered a full partnership with R. W. (Bob) Wall Ltd.

Donna has accomplished all of this while raising a family and being involved in serving her community. She has served as President of both the Nanaimo Executive Association and the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce, is the winner of the “2014 Community Leader of the Year” award and continues to be active in Rotary. Donna also is involved with Nanaimo Young Professionals, her church and the private school her children attend.

Donna enjoys working with and helping people. Whether it is helping members of the community build a better future or helping their dream project succeed from the planning stage through to the end of construction, you could not be in better hands.
